This is a Native American style drone flute flute made out of Phyllostachys Nigra bamboo (total dimensions: 330x50mm). It has two tubes that will play along in harmony. You can play the regular minor pentatonic scale in the key of high D, plus some harmony combinations.
The first one will play:
D5-F5-(F#)-G5-A5
and second (smaller one):
A5-(B5)-C6-(C#6)-D6
The totems were carved out of beech wood and were fixed with genuine brown leather.
They are also joint together with a lighter coloured brown leather.
**The holes are quite small and close to each other, so this flute is not appropriate for people with big hands!**
This flute was lightly fire treated and has dark waxed thread bindings. The interior was protected with almonds oil and the exterior with beeswax.
It has a clear, loud sound and is small and portable and a great hiking companion.
