This is a Flute in D, made in Blackwood (grenadilla, Dalbergia melanoxylon) with a Padauk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) ring.
With a cylindrical body and conical head, it has a range of 2.5 octaves.
It has a round timbre, with prominent harmonics in the 1st register.
Very accurate octave balance.
Relevant acoustic length: 525mm
