This is my latest design for an "Irish Flute" in the key of D.
It has a cylindrical body and parabolic head, resulting in a very good Intonation across registers. It will play in 2.5 octaves.
This is a wide bore flute & medium-big holes, thus having a strong, well projected sound.
The embouchure was designed for ease of playing, being easy to extract strong and stable low notes, as well as clear and precise higher notes.
The body is made of PVC, and the Head of PETG.
Sounding length is aproximately 52cm.
This is a nice and affordable option to start with, as opposed to my most expensive models made of more premium materials such Blackwood or Mopane & Delrin
