This is a handmade Bamboo Whistle tuned in B flat (or A sharp). It was made out of a specially selected long-internode bamboo with a slighlty conical bore, and Padauk (a vibrad Red hardwood).
This major scaled "Penny WHistle" is suitable for Irish and Folk Music. It has a sweet sound, easy blowing (not "airy"), and will play in two octaves.
It is around 38 cm in length.
