This is a Handmade Native American Style Bamboo flute tuned in the key of D major pentatonic Scale. It was made out of Pseudosasa Amabilis bamboo (check the variations for the dimensions!) .

It has 5 holes: 4 on top, and 1 thumb hole (last)-

This is a small sized flute, with an ethnic feel and may be considered a Culture Fusion flute, since it‘s built in the Native American Style (although the fipple is glued), has a different scale and an oriental look with dark waxed thread bindings.

It has clear, crispy sound, and will play in 1 octave, plus two notes in the second octave. Since this is a very melodic scale, it will be a nice improvisation companion :)

The bird is actually a glued fipple that was made out of exotic wood cambara.

This bamboo piece was carefully cured by shade, since it was harvested, and then fully fire treated..
