Meditative Native American and Oriental style Bass Kokin Akebono Bamboo flute. Ethnic exotic fusion flute. Deep relaxing meditation flute.

This is a meditative bass flute, made out of Phyllostachys Aaurea bamboo. With approximately 660x33mm (26x1,3 in).

With sound and scale resembling arabic and oriental modes, it is an hybrid between the exotic Akebono and Kokin-Joshi patterns. This melodic sounds are great for improvisation or meditation sessions. Its deep, compressed, soft rich voice will transport you to a relaxed mindset.

It also has an hybrid structure, with Native American Style track fundamentals and sideways alimentation, making it a culture fusion flute and very easy to play! Although it is a big flute, the holes position are fit for anyone with small hands :)

The mixture between the compressed tone of a Native American flute and the oriental scale ends up beeing a very relaxing result. The flute is sensible and you feel it wanting to emerge those harmonics. :)

The block was handcarved from a piece of holly, and fixed with genuine dark brown leather.
The inside was protected using natural linseed oil and the exterior with beeswax.

This flute is fire treated and tuned to itself, although it is very close to a C#4 :)
