Handmade out of a carefully selected long-internode species of bamboo, this transverse flute is tuned in low D major (A =440) and will play clearly in two octaves.
With a total size of ~65 cm, it is suitable for western (folk, irish) as well as eastern (e.g., indian) and meditation music. This flute is, however designed for Folk Music, and will present similar characteristics to an Irish Flute.

The top cap is made made out African Mahogany or Padauk.
Shellac was used for finishing.
