This is an exotic sounding side blown flute made out of naturally cured and slightly fire treated Phyllostachys bamboo. It is composed of a hybrid scale, a mixture between the Japanese scales Kokin and Akebono, in the key of low C (C4).
This flute has 5 holes and is very comfortable to play: no big stretching is needed, given the holes' disposition. It will play loud and clear 1,5 octaves.
It has a nice transporting voice, and it is a nice option for meditation or improvising sessions, since this is a very melodic and intuitive scale to play.
DIMENSIONS:
59x4 cm
It also has dark oriental bindings to ensure material's integrity. The interior was protected with almonds oil and the exterior with beeswax.
