Exotic Kokin-Akebono Bass Bamboo Flute. Oriental flute. Deep meditation flute. Japanese sounding flute.

This is an exotic sounding transverse flute made out of phyllostachys aurea bamboo.

It has a rich, bassy, deep "airy" tone tuned from Low G to low C, ideal for meditation sessions. It will play well in 1 and a half octaves. It has a japanese inspired "kokin - akebono" scale, a mixture between the Kokin and the akebono scales. This is a very melodic one, and will make any improvisation meaningful.

It has four holes, with 8-11 mm in diameter. Although this is a quite big flute, it is suitable for beginners since it does not require a lot of stretching! :)

Low D: 51 x 3,5 cm

Low C#/Db: 55,4 x 3,5 cm

Low C: 59,5 x 3,5.

Low B: 62 x4 cm

Low A#/Bb : 65 x 4 cm

Low A: 70 x 4 cm

Low G#: 72 x 4cm

Low G: 76 x 4.5 cm

It also has black waxed thread bindings.
