Handmade out of a carefully selected long-internode species of bamboo, this transverse flute is tuned in C major (A =440) and will play clearly in two full octaves.

With a total size of ~35 cm, it is suitable for western (folk, irish) as well as eastern (e.g., indian) music, as well as meditation music. This little fife can be considered a soprano flute :)

The top cap is made made out African Mahogany.
Shellac and beeswax were used for finishing.
