This is a handmade Wooden Flute in Macacauba hardwood (Platymiscium spp.). It is concert tuned and will play in more than 2 octaves.
It is a nice option for folk, traditional, and other world music. It's in the key of F major. It will also be a nice beginners' choice for Irish flutes, given that it is considerably more comfortable to play than a low D flute.

Another important note: This is a musical instrument, and should be treated with care :) when attaching the two pieces, make sure to rotate the two parts, the flute and the maker will thank you! :)
