This is a Native American style flute, made out of Phyllostachys bamboo (~ 53 cm ). Its relatively small size will allow it to be carried everywhere.
It is tuned in the key of F# minor pentatonic scale (A=440 Hz), It plays loud and clear in one octave plus two notes. This flute does not require a great deal of stretching, so it is suitable for beginners or people with small hands.
It has 5 holes, with 6 - 8 mm in diameter.
It has a soft transporting loud voice, making it a good improvisation and meditation tool :)
The totem, nest and mouthpiece are made out of Vintage African Mahogany and Chestnut and was fixed with genuine dark leather. This was lightly fire treatedand the interior was protected with linseed oil and the exterior with beeswax.
