Handmade out of a Unique Piece of Phyllostachys bamboo, this flute is built in the Native American Style and is tuned to itself (not concert tuned). It has a mellow tone, and its sounds are slightly melancholic and transporting.
It will play the regular minor pentatonic scale in the key of A# (Bb) (a few cents higher consistently) plus two notes in the second octave.
It is side blown, although the embouchure is similar to a Native American Style flute: Just blow into the hole :)
It is suitable for right handed players. And includes offset holes for the bottom holes (please check the photos).
In case you are doubting, this is a crooked flute, also known as natural!
Its total length is: 68 cm (~27 inches).
The totem is made out of Vintage Chestnut, and is fixed with genuine dark leather.
