Spanish Gypsy bamboo Flute | Handmade ethnic instrument in Hijaz Kar scale | Arabian style Sound for sound healing & meditation | Rui Gomes

Handmade out of Pseudosasa amabilis bamboo, this is a flute tuned in different keys with a Spanish Gypsy scale. This scale, also known as Hijaz Kar or arabian scale, has a great transporting voice, being an interesting tool for sound healing or meditation.

This flute will play in two octaves.

SIZE:
- Key of G: 40cm long (~15.73 inches).
- Key of F: 46 cm long (~18.11 inches).
- Key of E: 48cm long (~18.9 inches)

Please note that this flute will require you to use your pinky finger! It might be a little hard in the begining, but will eventually become second nature! :) For ergonomic purposes, the first hole (bottom-up) is offset for RIGHT HANDED players. Nevertheless, this might not be the best option for people with small hands.

The bamboo was lightly fire treated and protected with beeswax and linseed oil.
