This is a Handmade Native American Style Bamboo flute tuned in the key of D major pentatonic Scale. It was made out of Phyllostachys Aurea (~27cm)
It has 5 holes: 4 on top, and 1 thumb hole (last), with varying sizes (from the bottom, in mm):
8, 10, 10, 8, 8
This is a small sized flute (pocket flute), with an ethnic feel and may be considered a Culture Fusion flute, since it‘s built in the Native American Style (although the fipple is glued), has a different scale.
It has clear, crispy sound, and will play in 1,5 octave. Since this is a very melodic scale, it will be a nice improvisation and hiking companion :)
The fipple is made out of African Mahogany.
This bamboo piece was carefully cured by shade, since it was harvested in 2019.
