Handmade out of a carefully selected piece of bamboo, this transverse flute is tuned in low D major (A =440) and will play clearly in two octaves.
With a total size of ~52 cm (20.5 inches), it is suitable for western (folk, irish) as well as eastern (e.g., indian) music, as well as meditation music.
The bamboo was lightly fire treated and linseed oil was used for finishing.
