Handmade Wooden Flute in the key of F. Low F Irish style flute, made in two pieces, concert tuned for folk and world music by Rui Gomes

This is a handmade Wooden Flute in African Padauk hardwood. It is concert tuned and will play in more than 2 octaves, with a very balanced pitch, given its conical head, of my design.

This is a fine tuned instrument that will be suitable for folk, traditional, and other world music. It will also be a nice beginners‘ choice for Irish flutes, given that it is considerably more comfortable to play than a low D flute.

Please note that this vivid color will likely darken with time, as the wood gets UV-exposed, making it even more dramatic :)

African Padauk is a very stable exotic hardwood, that will sand to an almost polish finish, thus giving the flute a potent, vibrant sound

Another important note: This is a musical instrument, and should be treated with care :) when attaching the two pieces, make sure to rotate the two parts, the flute and the maker will thank you! :)
