This is a very intuitive melodic minor mode, that will always sound soothing, making it ideal for improvisation or meditative sessions.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nIt has a rich deep \"airy\" tone (~51 cm or 20 inches) and it‘s tuned to the key of low E (A=440Hz) in the Hijaz kar scale, or spanish gypsy.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nIt will play well and clearly in 2 octaves.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nPlease note that this flute will require you to use your pinky finger on the bottom hole. Since this is a relatively big flute, it might demand a considerable stretching on your fingers, so I wouldn‘t consider it a beginners‘ flute.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThis flute was naturally cured by the shade and was lightly fire treated afterwards.
