Deep meditation","description":"This is an exotic sounding transverse flute, resembling the oriental 7th century shakuhachi, but with a transverse embouchure and 4 holes. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nIt has a rich, bassy, deep complex tone (~ 52x3 cm)  tuned to E4, with A =432Hz ideal for meditation sessions. Made out of an adult piece of Pseudosasa Vulgaris, it will play well in 1,5 octaves. Although this is a relatively deep flute, it is suitable for medium hands, as the spacing between the holes is balanced. All the holes have 9-10 mm in diameter.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThis flute was lightly fire treated and the interior was protected with almonds oil and the exterior with beeswax.\u003cbr\u003e\nIt also has bindings made with waxed thread.
